Porter opted to try playing goalie for the spring season.
We learned that the two toughest positions in Hockey are:
The Goalie
and
The Mom-of-the-Goalie
After the last regular season game,
he threw off his (stinky) goalie gear
and this is what he did --
Skate Fast . . . he'd missed that!
(note: he's not even winded)
For the team's one & only playoff game,
his coach found a replacement goalie & had him skate with the team.
I tried to catch some video.
(He's green "0" with a black helmet &
red pants sticking out from underneath shin/knee pads)
Eat Fresh. Smell Sweaty.
(or . . . Porter eats Subway after the game)

he’s been reigned in long enough! time to be free and feel the wind through his hair! or at least through his helmet :)
will he be playing when we’re there? hope so :)
